CARTOON NETWORK PROMO SERIES: 1 of 4 "Cartoons That Never Made It" interstitials (a fancy word for a long promo). Created in conjunction with Michael Ouweleen, then of Cartoon Network's Promo Dep't. "Rupert" won the 1997 PROMAX/ BDA Gold Medal for Cel Animation and the Bronze Medal for Promos Over Ten Seconds. Also, it received the 1997 ASIFA-East Award for Best Direction Under Two Minutes.
