Actually, Carmel died in '86. I have that KHJ album! I've come across butchered copies in the thrift stores several times. I actually saw the "Seeds" (Sky Saxon and hired guns) a few years ago.

The fathers on the Mothers-In-Law were played by Herb Rudley and Roger C. Carmel (the one with the mustache). Carmel was booted after season #1 (he had drug issues, and in fact died in the '70s because of it), and was replaced by Richard Deacon (Mel Cooley/Fred Rutherford). The Seeds "Pushin' Too Hard" also appears on the 93/KHJ (Los Angeles) Boss Goldens LP
