I agree completely agree with you man. Besides I don't really think all of it's bad, minus the sexism what's wrong with a boy wanting to be like some of the heroes in Disney. I think heroic qualities and chivalry (please excuse my spelling) are good for children to grow up with. ^_^

Note that Mulan wins many of her battles with her intelligence, along with the strength that she gained while training.

lol... its funny (different) how american tv (disney) protrays "how to be a man"...however, in asian media (chinese) being kind, forgiving, smart, respectful, and yes, being able to draw, cook, sing, dance, write potery, playing chess... is the image of being a "real" man. at least thats what i can remember as a kid. now, well asia is sooo white-wash that these traditional characteristics are no longer valid or at least not as dominat.

it IS really stupid of disney to make women and men feel like they have to be perfect, women slim with big boobs and men with loads of muscles, but i dont take notice. its all a load of crap. we shouldnt put down disney films altogether, but just IGNORE what theyre doing XD

Gosh. So it's NOT just girls who feel inadequate (sp?) by media and what top companies portray as the perfect woman. Boys go through that same feeling too with Disney (and non-Disney) films? Whoa. That's crazy / messed up.
